The Annapolis Valley Honour Choir is announcing auditions for new choir members for the next school year beginning in September.  Any students in Grades 5-12 during the 2018-2019 academic year are invited to attend!

With two choirs and 120 students from throughout the Annapolis Valley Region. Auditions for both Junior Choir (Grades 5-8) and Senior Choir (Grades 8-12) will be taking place on from May 23 – June 6 at various locations across the Valley!

Recognized nationally, the AVHC is celebrating their 30th season as a leading program for choral music education, and aims to build a community of thoughtful, engaged citizens who will share in a life-long love of singing.

In addition to numerous opportunities to perform music from all styles throughout the year, choir members regularly travel abroad on cultural exchange trips to expand their interactions with, and appreciation of other cultures.  These trips, which are available to members from both choirs, are described as “life changing” by parents and students alike.  The next tour will be to Spain/Portugal in summer of 2019.
